Randy Taylor

Last September 2023 I started treatment for stage IV kidney cancer at City of Hope. Stage IV means the cancer has spread from the original and is metastatic.

I’ve kept a low profile on this because I needed time to adjust to this new normal and see how the medication side-effects would impact me. The first two rounds of treatment did slow the tumor growth which was positive but we needed to see the tumors shrink. The current and 3rd treatment I’ve been on since July 2024. While the results are still mixed we did have several tumors shrink or not grow at all. I am grateful for these results even with the significant side effects from the treatment medication.
